Volunteering Opportunities

There are many different ways to get involved with Penlee House’s work, and we offer a range of fulfilling opportunities for volunteers at all career stages.

The galleries are invigilated by volunteer Stewards, each covering a half-day shift running either from 10.00 – 1.30 or from 1.30 – 5.00, with a 15 minute break for a complimentary drink and slice of cake. You can volunteer as often as once a week or perhaps once a month, to suit your availability.  Please contact David Trevivian on 01736 363625 for further details.

We also welcome help with other aspects of our work, including researching and data-inputting information on our collections, assisting with education workshops and a variety of specialist support roles relating to our collections.

Please contact us on 01736 363625 or email us at info@penleehouse.org.uk if you feel you have skills to offer and would like to get involved.
