Penlee House Gallery & Museum

Gallery and Museum Talks

Included in all admissions for groups, and free to all schools, is a short introductory talk. This talk can be tailored to the visiting group's needs and can be very general, such as a general introduction to the collections at Penlee House and the local and social history of west Cornwall, or on the current temporary exhibition or the Newlyn and Lamorna artists colony.

Full details of your requirements must be confirmed at the time of your booking. It is appreciated where possible that the group leader contact the Access and Outreach Officer, Jonathan Holmes on info@penleehouse.org.uk or 01736 363625 to discuss the requirements of their group so that they can get the maximum benefit from their visit.

Longer guided tours are available to small groups, a charge is made for this service in addition to the normal admission fee. For these charges, please email or ring for the most up to date fees.

PLEASE NOTE the gallery and museum does not encourage group visits on Saturdays due to the large number of visitors normally visiting on that day. Although schools will not be charged on Saturdays, ALL other groups will be charged the standard admission fee on Saturdays. The free concession is not available to groups. Due to reduced weekend staffing NO GROUPS can be accommodated at Penlee House on Saturdays between 11.30 am and 2.30.pm.
