A printed programme detailing the order of events at the unveiling of a Memorial, held on Saturday 5 November 1904 in the Morrab Gardens, Penzance. Those attending were The Mayor, John Banfield, Esq., Aldermen and Councillors and Officers Men of the Artillery and Rifle Volunteers. The memorial was presented to the town by the Chairman of the Committee, J.V. Thomas Esq. to commemorate the men of Penzance who lost their lives in the South African War (the 'Boer' War) 1899 - 1902. The unveiling was performed by the Mayoress, Mrs.John Banfield. A prayer, the singing of a hymn : 'Onward, Christian Soldiers' and a benediction by William Colenso, the Hon. Secretary of Committee, concluded the ceremony.

A3 card menu from the Admiral Benbow pub in Chapel Street. Black type on white background. Signed on reverse by Roland Morris and Dated 20/4/62. Morris was the owner of the Admiral Benbow and the Maritime Museum opposite.

This item is a menu from the Admiral Benbow pub in Chapel Street, and is printed in black type on white A3 card. It lists prices of both the food and drink sold on the premises. In the top right-hand corner is a line illustration of a cannon. To the bottom right is a list of the Admiral Benbow's own pottery for sale, for example, cups and saucers, with their contact details and opening times to the bottom left. On the reverse of the menu is a signature in red ink 'Best Wishes / Roland Morris / 20/4/62. Morris once owned both the Admiral Benbow and the Maritime Museum.
