Silver, gold and enamel pocket watch in silver casing sold, and possibly made, by Abraham Hart (aka Lazarus Solomon) of Penzance in 1775. There are three paper inserts; two for R Thomson, watch and Jewellery Repairs and one for Roy Charles - both companies were based in Aberdeen. Thomson labels have written notes on the verso and the Roy Charles label states that the watch was overhauled in what looks to read 1964. 'Laz's Solomon, Penzance, 517' - is inscribed on movement.
