Terracotta vase by Barbara Tribe, circa 1960. Brown and beige glaze background decorated with blue spots. Signed on base "75 Barbara Tribe". The number 75 is believed to relate to the glaze used on this experimental piece. Believed to be made shortly after the death of her husband, as a means of keeping busy.
telephone made by Corin and Son, Penzance. Wooden box with trumpet shaped earpiece, attached on left hand side with a clip. Mounts on to wall. On front is mouthpiece, together with two bells. On right hand side is handle for winding. On base are six cable attachments. Inside the case is the complete mechanism.
