One side of the medal has the inscription 'THE INSTITUTE OF QUARRYING LONG SERVICE MEDAL 1942' and the other side has the inscription 'PRESENTED TO WILLIAM HARVEY GENDALL of 53 Fore Street, NEWLYN, PENZANCE In Recognition of 50 YEARS SERVICE WITH THE PENLEE QUARRIES LIMITED PENZANCE.' Complete with green, snakeskin effect box with blue baize interior.
