Natural History
Hagfish
hagfish, pickled in preserving fluid. Eel is attached to the rim of the jar with string.
Hawksbill turtle shell
A shell of a Hawksbill Turtle, a very rare visitor to the British Isles. There have so far been no records in Cornwall so the origin of this specimen is currently unknown.
Hobby
An immature Hobby, a falcon which is an uncommon summer visitor to the southern counties of England.
Hobby

Hoopoe
on top of the case (inside) is a label which reads 'W H Vingoe, Naturalist, Penzance'.
