Whale bone
only in 1994 identified as a whale bone. See article by Nicholas Redman in Cornish Life 1994 (date unknown).
Willow warbler
was originally accessioned as 1975.90, along with three other items (a bird and two shrews).
Woodcock
was originally accessioned as 1975.154, part of a group of four birds,(now 1991.572.1-4).
Yellowhammer
were originally accessioned as 1975.3-7, as a group of five identical yellow breasted buntings (Emberiza aureola) (now 1991.1136.1-5).
