Natural History
Pheasant
was originally accessioned as part of a group of four birds, (now 1991.572.1-4).
Pheasant
pair of pheasants in same case. Were originally accessioned as 1975.164. Naturalists label inside case - bottom left.
Pony's hoof
A hollow pony's hoof which may be a pre - 1983 acquisition and may be in the Penwith District Council Collection

purple sandpiper in winter plumage, occurs regularly in favoured rocky coastal locations such as Battery Rocks

was originally accessioned as 1975.150. In case with 1991.619.1 (1975.149). Has oval label on bottom left (inside) which reads 'MH Roberts, Naturalist, Quay, Penzance'.
