A carte de visite (oval photograph) of Henry Thomas, son-in-law of JR and Elizabeth Branwell, who lived at Penlee House. He married Laura ('Lolo), eldest daughter of the Branwells' but they later separated, with Laura returning to live at Penlee House with her son, Herbert Thomas.
