A photograph of Branwell's Corner in Penzance; the original Grocers shop here from 1829 was 'RM Branwell and Sons', belonging to JR Branwell's father, Robert Matthews Branwell. It is now known as Greenmarket, where Tregenza grocers is based. Others identifiable shops include 'Polsue &..' to the right, 'N.J Hall Genuine tea and grocery warehouse' in front, 'A.S ?? Maker' to the left and 'Fry & Sons Pure Cocoa' to the far left. Three horse and carriages are on the road, two of then in motion with passengers.
