A short article taken from a local newspaper, dated 09.11.1905 in handwritten ink above the type. Entitled 'Reminiscenes of Madron Churchtown and Its Surroundings By J. Hosking'. Within the article are notes on Madron industry, including Ding Dong Mine and Ponsbennett Stamps. Also monuments, such as Trengwainton Carn. He then mentions religion within Madron, such as the Wesleyan Chapel, the Methodist Church and Sunday School. The columns of the article have been cut out individually, and then backed with a piece of stronger brown paper.
