| Edwin Harris R B S A, 1856 - 1906 Edwin Harris was born in Birmingham. At the age of fourteen he entered the Birmingham School of Art and in 1880 he joined Verlat's academy in Antwerp; W. J Wainwright and Frank Bramley were studying there at the same time. Harris visited Brittany and Newlyn in 1881, but it was not until 1883 that he settled in Newlyn where he stayed for twelve years. |
