A Century of Art in West Cornwall 1840 - 1939
The landscape, light and lifestyle of West Cornwall have attracted thousands of artists over the centuries, yet only a handful of names are familiar to most art lovers. This exhibition included a range of work from the period 1840-1939, from some of the best known names and images to sole identified examples of Cornish paintings by unknown talents. It accompanied the launch of a major new dictionary, researched by West Cornwall Art Archive and published by Art Dictionaries Ltd.
